I found this blessing at Callanish Society, a non-profit organization in Vancouver providing retreats for people living with cancer and their families. It appears, per their website, that they have adapted it from Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, CA.
We give thanks for places of simplicity and peace.
May we find such places in ourselves.

May we begin to mend the outer world
According to the truth of our inner life.
a wonderful prayer/blessing from the Callanish Society - reminding us that healing begins within us, healing for mind as well as body, especially needed as these dark november days deepen towards the winter solstice. busy lives need to find refuge in those inner places, to refresh awareness of the beauty that is here, now, even in the music of the rain on the roof.
